Applying for a Rental Property
Applications are processed through our own screening and/or with the assistance of an independent tenant-screening company.
To apply for a rental unit, the following steps must be taken:
- Every adult (18+) applicant must complete the rental application
- Every applicant must pay the $35 non-refundable application fee
- Every applicant must submit the following documentation: proof of income for the last 30 days, copy of driver’s license/valid photo ID
Once these steps have been completed, the application information is processed, which may include credit, criminal, rental, eviction and reference checks and employment/income verification. Each applicant is then notified as to whether or not they have met the rental criteria and are approved for the property.
Once an application is approved, a non-refundable holding fee is collected to take the property off the market and reserve it until the lease signing. At the lease signing, all paper work is completed and the total required move-in amount is collected, less the holding fee.
